Cheeseburger Sliders
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb grass-finished ground beef or 1 Package of 3 patties
- 1 package of 12-count Hawaiian rolls
- 1/4 lb American cheese, or cheese of choice (optional)
- Salt, pepper, smoked paprika, to taste
- 1 or 2 Tbsps melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Trim a piece of parchment paper roughly 1” wider and longer than the height/width of your Hawaiian rolls. Place this on a rimmed backing sheet.
- Smash and mold your ground beef or patties into a rectangular shape that covers the parchment and is of even thickness. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and smoked paprika on top to taste.
- Bake your large beef patty for about 15-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer. The meat does shrink, which is why we want to make it larger than the rolls!
- While this bakes, use a large serrated knife to cut the rolls lengthwise, so the top is separate from the bottom.
- You’ll layer your cooked beef and cheese on the roll bottom, and place the top portion back on top the cheese.
- Mix melted butter with the garlic powder, then use a pastry brush to cover the top of the slider with the garlic butter mixture.
- You’ll put the sliders on a clean baking sheet, cooking for about 5 minutes until the top is lightly browned and the cheese is melted.
- Pull out and place onto a cutting board before cutting into 12 separate sliders.
- Enjoy with ketchup!
