Ryan & Bri

Six years into a lucrative engineering job and nearly 4 years after beating thyroid cancer, Ryan took a leap of faith into full time farming. He began the journey of pursuing his passion to take care of God’s land and animals in a way that produces quality food.

In January 2020 Ryan and Bri moved their family to Ohio, where he learned what being a full-time farmer is all about (ask him to tell you a few stories!). Ryan learned different styles of farming and his experiences led him to keep researching regenerative agriculture practices.

In the fall of 2021, they once again moved their family... this time coming home to East Texas, where Ryan was born and raised. In January of 2022 Pickenpaugh Family Farm was born.

This First Generation farm is Ryan's dream becoming reality - producing meat and vegetables in a regenerative way that heals the body and heals the land.

Bill & Cheryl

Bill and Cheryl Pickenpaugh are Ryan's parents and partners in business. After raising their 3 kids in Spring Hill, they moved north of town onto 64 acres. Bill is currently a full time mechanic, but farms as much as he can. They have 8 grandchildren who love to visit Mimi and Pawpaw's farm.
