Pork Pan Sausage Balls

Pork Pan Sausage Balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Pasture-raised Pork Pan Sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper. Using a Kitchen Aid mixer (or your hands), combine the Pork Pan Sausage and cream cheese until completely combined.
  2. Add shredded cheddar cheese until mixed well.
  3. In a small bowl combine flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Add flour mixture to the sausage mixture and combine until the dry ingredients are incorporated completely.
  5. Use a spoon or a small scoop to make even-sized balls that are about 1.5" diameter, and then use your hands to pack firmly into a round shape.
  6. Turn oven to 375 degrees and while it pre-heats, refrigerate the sausage balls.
  7. Bake at 375 for about 20-25 minutes, until they are browned on top and cooked to an internal temp of 165 degrees F.
